The Institute of Medical Science Students' Association (IMSSA) is a recognized University of Toronto student organization, for all graduate students in the Institute of Medical Science (IMS). The IMSSA can act as a liaison between graduate students and the department executives, bringing relevant issues to the IMS department, and is open to all graduate students in IMS. Any graduate student in IMS will have the opportunity serve on the IMSSA through annual elections or as a member at large.

IMS Scientific Day The annual IMS Scientific Day will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 8:15 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. This full-day event is the highlight of our academic year and features exciting talks and poster presentations by IMS students.

IMS Career Seminars The IMS Career Seminar Series is an IMSSA-led initiativedesigned to provide graduate students with the opportunity to discuss withrepresentatives from various scientific related careers in an informal setting.Several career-related seminars will be held throughout April - June.
